The Inclusive Football Collective (formally The AF League (2020-2024)) is a casual football league dedicated to women, non-binary and transgender individuals in Manchester. We do football differently. Whether you are looking to get into the competitive spirit or switching up your routine and socialising more, The IFC is here for you!
We have created a fun, friendly and safe environment where you can learn and improve your skills. Whether you have never played football before, are getting back into the game or are looking for a place to play with old (and definitely some new) friends, we welcome any and all who wish to join one of our fab divisions.

The IFC is proud to have a strong and inclusive community of football enthusiasts. We truly believe that football is for everyone, and that this sport is an excellent way to meet new people and form friendships.
Don’t be nervous if you are playing football for the first time. It’s okay if you don’t know anything about football! We welcome players of all abilities. Our community is happy to show you the ropes and welcome you into our inclusive league.

Football is for everyone. The IFC aims to make football accessible to women, non-binary and transgender individuals across the Manchester region. Regardless of your gender, sexuality, faith, race, ethnicity or age, you can play football, learn a new skill and have a great time!
We are committed to providing all players with an inclusive, respectful and safe environment. Whether you’re a complete beginner or seeking a competitive game, join us at the IFC League. Our positive, supportive and inclusive community will gladly become a part of your football journey.

All fees paid into Inclusive Football Collective go back into the eco-system, creating paid jobs for local people and paying to continue growing access to women’s sports across The UK. The league is part of Manchester Laces CIC, a registered organisation (Company Number: 14181719)

Player Risk & Liability

All participants in the Inclusive Football Collective League (referred to as “the League”) acknowledge that football is a physical sport that carries a risk of injury. By taking part, you accept that you do so voluntarily and at your own risk.

You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically and mentally fit to participate in football activities. If you have any existing health conditions or are unsure about your ability to take part safely, we recommend consulting a medical professional before playing. The League does not conduct health screenings.

The League, its organisers, coaches, referees, volunteers, venue partners, and affiliates accept no liability for injuries sustained during matches, training, or any related activities, except in cases of proven negligence. Participants are encouraged to have personal insurance to cover accidents or injuries.
We do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property while at League venues.

Any player suspected of having a concussion or serious injury will be removed from play immediately and advised to seek medical attention. Players will not be allowed to return to play on the same day and must follow appropriate return-to-play guidelines. This is for the safety and wellbeing of all participants.

The League is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all participants, particularly those under 18 and vulnerable adults. Any concerns about wellbeing or safety should be reported to the League’s Safeguarding Lead immediately.
Players are expected to treat each other with respect, kindness, and care. Any behaviour that puts others at risk—whether physical, emotional, or psychological—will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the League.

Matches and events take place at different venues, each with its own health, safety, and emergency procedures. Players are expected to familiarise themselves with the venue’s rules and comply with any instructions from venue staff.
In case of an emergency, please follow the instructions of League staff and venue officials.
